I'm looking to purchase my first boat and I've narrowed down my choices to a 2003 Glastron SX 175 and a 2003 Bayliner 175. Anyone have any opinions, experiences, etc... they could share with me to help me decide which one to buy?
THANKS! |

| I hate to be the bearer of bad news but both of these boats have SERIOUS quality concerns. My folks own a 2000 Glastron GX185 & it is the biggest POS I have ever seen. They are having serious structural hull concerns (I'm in the marine service business & see a ton of boats) The Bayliners are usually even worse. Do yourself a favor & buy a "used" older boat that is of better quality, the price will be right & you will get more enjoyment out of it (i.e. won't be in the shop often) |

Don't buy the Bayliner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend the Glastron either, but it's up to you. I would go with mainelaker and buy an older used boat. _________________ Pulling fat people out of the water is fun...I get to use my engine. |
