hi guys, newbie here in the forum.
i have been riding for a couple of months now in our nearby cable park, and i must say that i can fairly ride well now. thing is, all i've been using are the service boards that the park offers, and i've decided to get a board of my own.
i am 6'2" and 245lbs, and have been riding their CWB 141 board which is okay i guess, i haven't really compared it with any other board, though it seems that it's undersized for me.
the bigger boards that are available where i'm from are the 143 Gonzales 09 and the 145 Legend 08, fairly available at the same price. i was thinking the newer Gonzales as it's a newer model and the graphics on it are sick! but i can't help thinking about the 2cm longer Harris board. i also noticed that the Gonzales are a bit wider, will that help me improve? wider or longer? i will be riding on cable most of the time.
what can you suggest? i'd like something i can improve on. maybe hitting the kickers/ramps and sliders in the future.
also, for the bindings, it's either a 09 Gator Team bindings or an 08 Watson OT.
your suggestions and opinions will be of much help. thanks! |
