I know that the message-board client that is being used for this site is probably limited but it would be really cool to be able to upvote or downvote people's posts.

I know you can kind of do it in replies but it'd just be kind of cool to be able to do that without having to add to the thread if you just want to agree with someone. Just hit a thumbs up or thumbs down like youtube or reddit.

ive seen this before. however it was a thread as a whole, guitar players might recognize this on ultiamate-guitar.com however it uses stars. I have also seen a props system where users can gain acheivements if the are propped by someone for a good post.

Used to have something like that on here. Someone got their taint hurt over it and it disappeared. You'll see the old timer around the site throw up a STAR every once in awhile when they agree about someone else's post.
