I have a 89' Correct Craft SKI Nautique 2001 hull. I love it but I want to up grade not only for room but conveince.
Looking at what i want to spend I think I am interested in 2000-2004
Air Nautique, 196 Air Nautique open bow, Super Air Nautiuque or possible Pro Air Nautique.
My family kneeboards, wakeboards and barefoots.
I need to understand the differences in the hulls above. I need a boat that delivers a nice wake for the weekend warrior but also gives good speed for barefooting with NO porpoising.
Side spay is a big concern also because of barefooting off boom. I know that on some boats they had channels in the hull to reduce this.
Thanks in advance for any information. |

rode behind a 196 one night, and it seriously had no wake at all. none.
pro air your gonna gain some room and an open bow.
super air has a great wakeboard wake. got a good amount of side spray, not quite as much as a 2001 |

| consider a Sanger V210....if you weight it right it won't porpoise when getting up to barefoot speeds and wil throw a killer wake for most anything you want to do |

Zackmx222, Seems to me that the Super Air will be a natural move forward for you... Similar hull but bigger, more room and a bigger wake!
I'd forget the 196 - that is by no means a good wakeboard boat. I can't comment ont he pro air too much but have a friend who had one and nick-named it the "No-air Nautique" _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Is there a huge difference between the Air Nautique and the Super Air Nautique. Besides interior. Has anyone spent some time in or behind both.
I am curious about speed for Barefooting and
Wake for wakeboarding |

If you are even considering it, do it this winter. Coming off one of the worst boat selling seasons ever, and knowing boats sell slow during the winter... do it now. You have some time yet to get a couple of boats out on the water and see what does best for your needs. Get started. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN
