this is a project that i can get into. i love how much room it gives the old 2001. okie, this is something that you should look into since your doing your floor and stringers this winter.

I got to page 4, just starting to get to the pictures on the install and now I get a "Problem in Database Connection" message.

Seems like a sweet idea. Although I think if I were going to start from scratch I'd just get an Excel that has fiberglass stringers.

Ok, site is back up. Holy crap that is amazing. That teak looks so clean. That's really impressive. I wonder what the total cost on it was.

Scratch the Excel, I'd rather have that.

I am surprised though that someone would make a v-drive out of a 2001 without the intention of making it a wake monster. By that I mean, pimp it out with a tower, racks, speakers etc. Basically make it a super air nautique closed bow of sorts with the 2001 hull. While they have a slightly extended pylon it is not an equivalent to a tower when wakeboarding. Maybe they are mostly surfers or something.

But it is classy as hell like that!

kmayotte, I think the point was to keep it looking classic; not like a modern machine. If he wanted a modern wake maker I reckon he could have bought one for the money he spend and a lot less work Very Happy

I would love to do the same... it'd be a heck of a mission though!

Drool....
