noob question on oolder wakeboard & newer bindings

Hey all,
I'm a total noob. Been wakeboarding once with my brother this summer and am now wanting to introduce my friends here in Chile to it. So I'm looking at getting a board. I have an opportunity ot get an older model new board (a 2005 Gator) and need to get some bindings for it. I was looking at the 2008 Hyperlite Era's but I've heard that there can be compatibility issues between older baords and newer bindings (especially newewr CWB and Hyperlite bindings).

Can somebody guide me to somewhere that I can find info on what bindings will work with this bard, and if these bidnings will? I tried searching, but I gess I'm too much of a noob to know the right terms to stick into the search engine and find what I'm looking for.

What model exactly, I bought a Gator Custom this past spring from around that time and I got 2008 LF Index bindings and they work perfectly.

As far as I am aware, that will work just fine, and you should really like that board.
