Okay I have an older generic board with a removeable fin. Which we have removed which makes the board feel much better. I'm looking at new boards and am liking the Liquid Force ones but I noticed that they have molded fins? How do they feel compared to the detacable ones?
Any advice? _________________ If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." - Mario Andretti |

| molded fins are the norm now. They are just enough to keep you tracking straight but do not hinder your ability to break loose. Most still have a removable center fin with the molded fins on the outer corners. Hope that helps |

| Yea most still have fins that screw on + the molded fins. The molded one will still break loose really easy. Can't even really notice they are there. |

| I have a liquid force axis board with the molded fins, they are great. very good board control and you can cut harder with less effort. they are pretty shallow fins so it is still easy to do surface tricks. dont be hesitant to get the molded fins, they are a god advantage to have |

Same as what's been said, I don't like boards with detachable side fins, because I feel like with them in, they grip too much, and out, most don't grip enough. But, molded fins are there when you need them, and you hardly notice them when you don't. _________________
