Ok,
Im looking to put a tower and tower speakers on my boat this spring and I'm not sure what size speakers to put on in my wet box. I found a good deal on some 800 watt(thats the max output) on ebay for like $40. But is 4 800 watt speakers too much? If so what is a good size so that i ca hear it very well while im behind the rope or people are on the tubes? My friend has a Malibu and his dad put on 2 60 watt(RMS) speakers last fall and we were tubing and had to constantly tell him to turn it up. When we got on the boat we found out thye were all the way up, and his boat isn't that loud. So I think i want somewhere around 120-200 watt(RMS) speakers. Whould these give me what I want? I can't wait till this is done so I can go piss people off with my crazy loud music!!!!!!
If they are 6.5" I would go with the wetsounds WS650s. They are extremely clear inside the boat and can handle power for sure. I dont have them on the tower, but I know that Monster Tower sells them loaded in cans for tower speakers, and I've read people use them and they work well.
If they are 6X9 I honestly dont know what to recommend. Do you already have the wetbox or are you getting one when you put the tower on. I just looked at the date of the original thread, so im sure youve already put speakers on. _________________ How much work would a network work if a network could network?
