| What is a good way to temporary fix my handle. The chaimos part on the handle is ripping off. I wonder if I get some foam tape and then wrap duct or electrical tape around it if it will hold up for a weekend. Cause if I order one it won't get here in time for the weekend. Share ur opinion. |

I know a couple people that strip the foam off of the metal bar and rewrap it in tennis tape. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

That's not a bad idea. Or the tape you wrap baseball bats with. Might be the same thing? _________________

We used to wrap our trapeze bars in wide athletic tape for the circus and that would probably hold up for a weekend (at least) if you wrap it well. It can be kind of tough on your hands though. Sometimes we'd wrap gauze around first and then cover in athletic tape to soften it up.
I just mention it because it might be cheaper to do. I don't know what the prices are on tennis/electrical tape though. |

Yeah, I have no knowledge of prices, but with the padding and type of tape that tennis grip is it makes for a pretty comfortable grip while being very grippy. You'd definitely have to pad the athletic tape though, even if just to make the diameter a little larger. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

| you can get tennis grip tape for around $6. Probably just have to wrap it tight and then duct tape at each end or it will come undone for sure. |

Hockey tape is the way to go. Myself and others have been using this for years on brand new handles and ripped ones. This year Randall Harris has a pro model handle from Company with Hockey tape on it already and also comes with an extra roll as well. _________________ My Demo Reel
