For those of us that can't afford a 65k wakeboarding boat, there are alternatives. Mine has the 4.3 and has zero problems pulling people up to 250#, although it doesn't have the biggest wake it also only cost me 13,000 with everything.
I have had this boat 2 years, I installed the tower, speakers, tower lights, stereo, bimini (i had to cut it down a little to make it fit, but i didn't want to pay another 400 for a new one. its does look a bit ghetto, but it serves its purpose.) here in the last month, any questions just ask.
Here are some pics and a couple videos of me jumping the wake for the first time with the tower, this has zero ballast in the boat, just my 115lb wife and 245lb buddy.
total cost of the tower, racks, lights, speakers, and all needed to install was $1408.

No I'm actually just running one, I run the speakers off the head unit for now. It really has to be deathly loud to hear it while your doing stuff behind the boat. When this battery gives out I'll get a yellow top optima. I just didn't want to mess with running an amp and wire when I really didn't want it loud enough to hear while wakeboarding. |

Nice setup you have there. If you only paid 1400 for everything it sounds like you got a hell of a deal.
need perfectpass now if you don't already have it! It made my life a LOT easier _________________ Need riders in the Fort Collins, CO Area! |

Cool. I live up around the Tulsa area and hit Skiatook the most. I'll be moving to the OKC area sometime in the next year. I've heard Arcadia is pretty decent. I've been out with someone in OKC on Draper and it seems cool too. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

I have pretty much the same boat. Mine is an 07 and i have had a blast with it. I put 400 lbs of sand bags just playing around and with a little trim it throws a decent wake. If i don`t get a used wake boat (which i doubt i will for a couple of years) i am going to add some ballast and perfect pass. I have the same tower as well. |
