How to get an old man to put the boat in

So about a month ago my boat was ready to go in except for 1 little thing that my dad has to fix, something i could do my slef but am not allowed. WHat do u think i should do to get the old fat as to put our damn boat in. My jump has been ready for a week or so but i've yet to get my tow
