ride up the wake a little longer, and edge a little harder. to me they are easier to do when i do take them bigger and cut pretty hard. other wise it looks right and you have good enough height _________________ www.georgiawakeboardlessons.com |

I throw it more out, but some people throw it up. It just depends on your personal preference. _________________ www.georgiawakeboardlessons.com |

Hi @ all!
I've seen the video. It looks great. I'm also trying to do that trick...
In the video, it looks like Albert_J is doing first something like a 180 (or at least a part of it) and then the rotation. As I can see, he gets around his board first (90°), then turning his head towards the boat (looking under the arm pit)...
Could anyone explain it one more time in little steps so that I can get it really clear into my head before going out for the next session?
Many thx

| if you have perfect pass, slow the boat down about half mph to make the wake wider. edge in harder torward the wake and/or go outside the wake like 5 more feet. once you get to the top of the wake, lean your right shoulder back and then move your left shoulder kind of hard to the left to make the rotation. if that doesn't work, just tuck more. good luck |

You are doing almost an O/A ole 3. You need to keep the handle lower (push it to your hip) and throw the trick more "over the top". The rotation looks alright, but for some reason, it reminds me of an O/A Ole 3. Oh yeah, and wait a little longer before you throw it, so you get more pop. You are really low on your attempt on the video. Hope this helps some.

Do you guys load the front leg hard like I read about?
I get stuck upside down some times looking at the wake while I come down almost on my back. I usually land right on my left shoulder (I ride regular). It's like I'm not getting the kick from the wake to boot the board up and around. They say I go high but always stall out at the top. It really does feels like I'm missing something off the wake..... I'd like to think it is as easy as loading the front leg more but have yet to try it again.
Anyone? _________________ PEACE

J DOGG-
I swear that you already have the Scarecrow dialed. But, as I am sure you know, wait for the pop. A lot of people will tell you the scarecrow is a trip flip like the Tantrum, which I guess it is, but I don't think of it like that at all. I pretty much stay on edge, load the front leg a tad more and really try to throw it up and over, not so much out or across. It only takes a little to initiate the 180. Just drop your back shoulder and sniff your lead armpit. The rest should really be taken care of by the boat. Oh yeah, be sure to keep your rear hand on the handle and pull it to your hip as you are coming out of the rotation.
It's really a simple trick, not much to it. You'll have it dialed in no time if you don't already. Post a vid in the media center or on this forum, that always helps a lot.
I just re-read my post and the stay on edge part sounds funny, I guess I let off a wee bit, but nothing like the Tantrum.

Thanks, it just felt like I had to through it of the wake real hard when my buddy who takes a much harder cut at it than I do gets popped right around.
It sounds like I use your approach style more than the Necrason full throttle style cut at it.
I just need to do them more I think.... _________________ PEACE

| You might try keeping the handle in closer to your hip if you look and the video the handle is almost all the way above your head. |
