Hello, I am very new to the sport and was wondering when first pulling someone out of the water if its better to go full blast with the boat power or gradually pull the boarder up out of the water.

Thanks for any hints.

It depends on the rider. If someone is new and can't get up it is better to ease up slowly so they can get the feel of the line tension before they just get yanked and fall over. I personally like to get pulled up pretty much full speed so I don't have to use too much energy getting out of the water. I just let the boat pull me up.
