Might try spinning later, or at least be in the mindset that you're going to flip first. It's probably just in your head and pulling your focus away from the takeoff. _________________

Well, this is the second post that I've read wrong today. I really need to pay more attention. I'd think the untwist would come natural during the roll. Video? _________________

| The 180 part is usually a pretty natural thing. A lot of people have trouble just doing a TS frontroll and tend to go straight to a scarecrow. Vid? |

| I usually use a little bit of a shorter cut for scarecrows compared to frontrolls, try to go up more than out. To start the 180 i just initiate the rotation a little different than a frontroll. Hard to explain, but i just kind of throw the back shoulder and let my hips open towards the boat, you've probably figured out it's easy to spot the landing. Having frontrolls down already I expect you'll have it down soon. |
