Pretty hard on grass but probably helpful. Carpet might be easier.

Trampoline is really helpful though. I attempted shove-its occasionally for 2 seasons and then started trying them on the trampoline. I landed it int he first day after the practice. It is actually a really good practice ground.

Shuv its are a acyually a really easy trick to learn without that kind of practice IMO. Its all on the back foot. Just commit and the falls are super mellow so theres no other way than just doing it.

Best thing is to go out and try them but I'm guilty of carpet-boarding out of boredom. Throw on a wakeskate movie and tear up the living room.

I'd think trampoline is better. It's not so much like skateboarding. You have to learn to catch your board before you hit the water. With skateboarding you can play around on carpet because you can stomp the board after it lands when you're in the early stages of learning a trick.

Just my 1 cent.
