recently i was out wakeboarding. i went up for a jump and when i landed, i caught my edge and the board was ripped off my feet. is this supposed to happen to prevent knee injury, or do i need tighter bindings?
Also i am riding with LF Domain bindings. I realize these are lower end bindings, so as my riding progresses, how important is it to upgrade, and how would upgrading help? _________________ anything is possible |

When I upgraded I noticed a huge difference mainly in my comfort level and maneuverability. Better bindings = easier to get into, less chance of bruising, and better movement especially on your toeside edge and while doing tweeked grabs.
To answer your first question, yes, on a hard fall where you're catching an edge, you definitely want your feet to come out. _________________

i have upgraded my boards and bndings and have noticed a difference between my lower end and my high end closed toes... my friends who still use my old boards tend to get ripped out often and i have never completely been ripped out and have taken some hard falls due to this with my closed toes. however its made up due to the fact that their comfortable, manuvarable(sorry for spelling), and alot more resposive... _________________
