Unfortunately, Lesnar will win.

GSP will systematically take Thiago Alves apart over the course of 5 rounds.

Henderson will knock Bisping out.

Just some semi-educated guesses.

I bet on Mir 'cuz the odds were so good (a little bit surprising), but I won't be surprised to see Brock win.

I agree that GSP will probably dismantle Thiago, especially considering in Thiago's last fight against Matt Hughes he didn't make weight so he's probably a bit worked over from cutting.

I sincerely hope Henderson annihilates Bisping. I haven't liked him for a while now (I think after he got that BS decision over Matt Hamill), but after seeing him coach I've decided that dude is an ultra Bubb Rubbing douchebag. If he reads this now he's gonna be all offended and threaten to kick my ass.

You know what dude, in that fight, I'm going to root for Lesnar too. I'm not big on Mir.

Those were my thoughts exactly going into that fight. After the post fight interview, however, I don't have a much higher opinion of Hendo either. If that last punch after Bisping went down was a natural follow through fine .... but admitting to realizing he was out and still throwing that punch ... that puts a bad image on the sport.

That said, I'm much happer that Henderson won than Bisping, just less than impressed with what was said in the post-fight.

Knock Out Of The Year = Henderson KO of Bisping? Any other opinions?

Other than an incidental submission hold, who is going to beat Lesner?

GSP vs Anderson Silva, who wins?

Yea, he definitely shoulda kept his mouth shut 'cuz he coulda played it off that the ref hadn't stopped him yet. I think Bisping deserved it, but Dana's NEVER taken kindly to guys who admit to trying to hurt an opponent. Babalu got ejected from UFC for holding a choke and admitting that he wanted the guy to black out so he'd know who the big dog was. Then Steve Cantwell got his walking papers after busting some dude's arm and proudly admitting he'd been "wanting to do that forever." I think Henderson will get some star treatment and keep his spot, but from what I've read Dana already gave him a tongue-lashing. He may or may not get fined some of his purse, and I wouldn't disagree with it if he did.

But Dan's always kinda been a bit of a stuff-talker. After he beat Wanderlei in Pride he invited people to his afterparty at Body English, or Wanderlei's at the hospital. Laughing

Fedor would crush lesner...Granted he isnt in the UFC but NO ONE wants to fight Fedor.

Tbonez, Doesn't Fedor's contract end very soon? The UFC is going to try hard to sign him I would imagine.

Yes that is correct...Dana has been promising to bring him to the UFC for two years, however, so I am not holding out much hope...I would LOVE to see that fight if it ever happens..

This video says it all to me..

Fedor is a freaking demon. I wonder what he'd do with a guy that's got 50 pounds on him though. Fedor's not that big of a heavyweight. I don't know how many times I've said it, but I think they need a super heavyweight division.

Lesnar is a nutsack.

I agree that they need a super heavyweight division, and that Lesnar is a nutsack. He should have never been given a title shot so soon, it made a mockery of the sport.

Frankly, once the weight divisions went into effect I lost 85% of my interest in the UFC.

While they are a necessary evil, there certainly isn't an UFC like Mr. Gracie said during his interview with CNBC.

I see what you're saying and partially agree with you. Back then the big dudes had no idea what gracie was doing though, and a 150 pound guy could win a fight with a guy 100 lbs heavier than him. Kicks to the nuts were also legal.

dirtysparks, It was the Ultimate Fighter for sure. Are you sure nut shots were legal?

I know there were no eye gouges and biting, but I thought groin shots were not allowed as well.

the point seemed to be, you get into a street altercation with another person, HEY WAIT, get on this scale to make sure you are in my weight class? Laughing Laughing Laughing

Like I said, I understand the need for the classes but it is just not the same. My friend and I watched all the early UFC fights. No gloves, numerous fights in one night etc. That was bad ass fighting.

Fedor has fought guys much larger then him before, he'd be fine. Im guessing he'd arm bar Lesnar and that would be it.

Don't know the exact ruling back then, but in UFC 4 Kimo's sensei/sifu/trainer Joe Son fought. His opponent choked him and punched him in the crotch no less than 3 times. Son tapped.

cameraboy, Pretty good semi-educated guesses! Laughing

I really have a hard time liking Lesnar. It will take a lot more to convince me that he is a good fighter. He is big yes. But good....hmmm.

I like Bisping but that was one sweet KO by Henderson.

GSP. Can anyone beat him? Except a Serra with a horseshoe up his ass (as Lesnar would call it).

Lesnar tapped out. He lost, he stated he was pissed at Mazagati for not stopping the fight after he tapped on his leg 6 plus times.

Lesnar lost in UFC 100

Lesnar beat the crap out of Mir in UFC 100. I was rooting for Mir but he definately lost in round 2.

Lesnar was apologizing for his attitude after the fight. He acted like a complete idiot.

I think he's still getting the WWF outta his system.

In his fight with Heath Herring he mostly laid on top of Heath and just kept him from doing anything, but didn't work towards finishing the fight. So then after 3 rounds of laying on top of him, he stood up and started celebrating/taunting Heath.....with time left on the clock. He's definitely got some changes to make in mentality from WWF to UFC, so I'll let him slide on it for now. I imagine now that Dana's worked him over it'll be the last time he acts like that. Otherwise his contract could be next on the chop block.

It has been widely reported that Dana got on his butt. I think the part that made Dana the most mad was when Brock was asked about his future plans. Brock said " Im going to drink a Coors Light, yea I said a Coors Light, because Bud Light wont pay me enough". The problem with this statement is that Budweiser is a huge sponsor of the UFC.

I dont know I think Brock is an idiot and acted as such. He did however beat the crap out of Mir.
