this is my 3rd season to wakeboard and I really want to learn some trick and become better. I have a few questions: How long of rope do ya'll use? How fast do you wakeboard? I can hs w2w but I can't jump good at all ts. . .any tips? I want to be able to hs 180 and ts 180, I can ollie 180 but don't always make it (ouch). Oh and I don't have a tower or tall bar or anything, just plain old ski boat.

thanks in advance

Rope = 70 ft
Speed = 21-22 mph

Both of those depend on how your wake size is. On some boats you have to pull the rope in because the wake is not crisp enough at 70 ft at any speed. Understands?

As far as trick tips, search through the trick tips section or trick tips forums. The main thing is, go for it, you can land it unless you try it.

it really depends on your wake. Behind my boat the farthest back you can go is 65, and you have to ride 24 plus to have a decent wake there. My advice is that as long as you have good board control, keep it around 24, thats a good speed.

Nah dude we are in the same position. I only have a ski boat with no tower or pylon, my rope is at 50 somthin feet and i go 17-20 mph. although I can land hs 180's. sounds good dude. Just practice on the 180's.fine a sweet spot on the wake where its nice and crisp. mine is between 45ft and 55ft.
