Binding/Boot fitment?

I got my 2008 Transit's in the mail. The are size 9-10.

They seem too small too me, and my toe barely goes over the edge. But there are some pads in the back where the achielles tendon sits and that may be preventing my foot from sitting a half inch further back.

Think I should simply try the 10-11's or will these break in over time and probably end up fitting really well?

I can post photos if that would help.

Not sure about the transits, but most bindings pack out a bit. Maybe someone else on here has first hand knowledge of these bindings.

Here is a shot of the pads inside.. wondering if they will depress a bit and let my foot sit back a bit, or if they are going to be pretty firm for a while? Guess I can call LF tomorrow.

my toes hang over my binding more than that. It looks fine to me..

As long as they are not so tight that they cause pain or loss of circulation you should be fine. Once the padding packs it looks like they should be about right. I'd rather have bindings on the tight side vs. loose.

I think it looks okay. Set them out in the sun for a while before you go ride, and they should soften up. BTW, I'm going to start calling my bindings "fitments" now. I like the way that sounds.
