the tower has zero welds which means you clamp and screw it all together and the most important thing is the feet...its metal to fiberglass...

research them on the forums here...do a search...one guy had the tower fall apart and a clamp sank into the water..

Yeah, I did a couple of searches before posting. To me it sounded first of all like the poster that had issues was just a kid (since his dad bought the tower for him). And second, it sounded like he knew it was his fault that the thing broke.

The problem with searching through posts is that people rarely post about something when there are no problems. I had to help my wife come to the conclusion when we were buying a used car. She kept going on the internet and searching for the model by name and putting the word "problem" after it. She got freaked out every time saying "look how many people have posted problems with the car".

What I was asking in this post was whether anyone has the tower and has bad OR good things to say about it.

taitrt, I would keep shopping.

We used to sell the typhoon tower here and whilst it does the job it looked pretty bad and wasn't the greatest at anything.
