i always thought the billabong sanford vest was cool as hell. but i dont know about performance. you should be good with anything thats lets you move and floats you face up. those are the only things i worry about. |

Channelwake, take it in the water and fully exhale. Does it still float you? If yes, then it is a good vest, if no then I'd find something else quick. _________________ wakeboards

I've got the white Nova and it's been doing great over the last year. I picked up a Modernizm which I thought was the same vest with a different pattern, but it doesn't float as well.
These are non CGA vests, so don't go unconscious in the water if you're a big guy.
I keep different vests at different locations and also use a JP A10 and the new Company vest (the only model they make I believe), and the Billabong vests definitely have a different feel to them. The Billabong vests don't dry out as quick once you pop out of the water, but they're also a lot less restrictive and stay in place better due to the design around the neck area. I always find myself 'rearranging' mid-ride with the other comp vests.
Overall, for a sub-$100 vest, they get a good grade, IMO. |
