I know this is probably not a commonly talked about topic, but what shorts do you guys wear? I've worn a wet suit for some time, and for the last 3 weeks i wore shorts. But, it's awkward getting out of the water and they get pulled up my legs, they're above my knees which is uncomfortable and they're kind of heavy. What shorts do you guys wear? I want a new pair that's longer and lightweight.

currently rocking a set of abercromies i picked up on sale for $19
i love them. not just the print, and the long length, but that they have mesh innerds, full L and R pockets and cargo pockets as well.

ive been wearing O'neil Superfreak boardshorts, they are really light and have below the knee length. the thing i like about them is you dont have to reach down and pull them after you get up they jus drop back on their own.

I'm looking for a new pair as well. Every time I get up I have to pull them down... it gets very annoying. I've heard good things about O'neil so I think I'm going to look into a pair of those.

I've got a pair that has a wetsuit type liner rather then the mesh. They don't ride up, helps prevent ball slap and I haven't had a lake enema since I started wearing them Wink

I've got a few pair of O'neill, some Fox, and some Reef. All are long, and i still end up having to reach down and pull my front leg down after i'm up for a few minutes. Not a big deal though.

Love my Superfreaks!

I HATE the mesh innards of any suit...first thing I always ripped out of a new suit. If god didnt want my junk wild and free he would have given me a vagina.

I have a weakness for boardies. Thanks mainly to whiskeymilitia.com and killerdana.com I have about 20 pairs of boardshorts. Funny thing is I only wear a couple of them the majority of the time. Jet Pilot, Lost, and Fox make the ones I wear most. Smile

how many companies do you know will ask you what you look for in boardshorts? better yet, how many companies will ask you what you want, then make it for you? i know of only 1 company: cire!!! a few months ago, there was a thread on wakeworld about boardshorts. i chimed in w/ my suggestions: kelly green w/ very little loud graphics. what do i find in my mailbox?

these shorts are sick! nice material, great fit and long past the knees! definitely check them out at http://www.cirewear.com/home.php . also, check out the thread on wakeworld for more info on the shorts above, including some great news for those that think boardshort prices are ridiculous!

I have a pair of Superfreaks, and a Pair of Jet Pilot's with the lycra lining. I have a few other pairs too that never get touched. The superfreaks are awesome for when I wanna hang a little. The Jet Pilots are good for when I want to be secure.

I own three pairs of Billabong, and like them just fine. In my experience, the heavier material doesn't ride up much at all, but it's a habit to give them a tug every now and then. The lightweight ones don't seem to be good for much of anything other than swimming and drinking beer in.

Anyone wear Body Glove's board shorts?

Billabong all the way. They look cool and are usually quick drying.

Who cares if shorts ride up a little. Pull them down after getting up, usually takes the wake a few secs to form anyway!!

I prefer the Oakley's myself, they seem to fit me real well. The Oneil freak line is also really awesome, especially good to wear when you're learning trip flips, keeps the seed slappage to a minimum.

I've picked up a couple pairs of Fox shorts the last two summers. They've got these Lycra mix shorts that are really nice. I think some of them look kind of cool too.

Cire Boardshorts, longest in the industry, don't ride up, very nice quality at a great price 48.00

They have a new Recession line coming out in a couple weeks, 35bucks, cant beat that.

I also ride Fox, they are nice as well.

In the cut off jean shorts?

Was that before or after you swallowed a protein shake?
