Weight training is good. If you wakeskate you can skateboard. Trampoline is prlly your best bet even though you already mentioned that.

and the trampoline is pretty much just for practicing flips and spins, which arent very basic. but a balance board is good. you dont even have to buy one if you dont want to, just get something round and put an old skateboard deck on it and try to balance.

When I broke my ankle, the sports doctor suggested a wobble board. Unlike a balance board, it won't move from the spot it's in. You can't practice flip tricks like a balance board, but it's far less painful if you fall off. With either option, try getting a medicine ball or something of the like and doing squats on the board while holding it. A more wakeboarding specific option would be to get one of the bungee cord kits (they're about $30 with all the accessories) and doing the recommended exorcises while on the board. Balance, coordination and strength training all in one package. Hope this helps.
