Ok, first of all I did search and there really wasn't a lot that helped me out.
Right now I ride a obrien oasis 142. I am about 5' 11" and around 145 but growing a little bit. I know the board I have now is a little too big for me and it is starting to go down hill. The edges are coming apart a little bit. The big problem though is that when I went out today and went to tighten my binding up, it just snapped. The bindings I had on there sucked so I am deciding to find a new pair of bindings. While I was looking I decided to see if I could find a cheap board/package deal.
What I found was a 2008 Hyperlite Apex 137 with 2008 CWB Answer bindings for about $288. I couldn't really find much on the board. Do you think this is worth it or should I just get some bindings and keep the board I have for now? I can jump the wake heelside and do some grabs and am very comfortable on the board. Thats about the most I could possibly spend right now and even that might be too much.
Last thing is if I got this board, does anybody know the sizing on the CWB Answers? I wear a 10.5 shoe, I was thinking large which says 11-10 but want to make sure that these bindings don't run big, especially since they are close toed.
Thanks for any help and sorry about another one of these threads. |
