I have a 02 Mobius and the bilge pump won't stop, which is of course draining the battery...how do I make it stop? I know it's something to do with the float switch but that's as far as I've gotten on my own.
Also, is it easy to change the oil or should I have someone who knows what they're doing do it for me?

This is my first boat alone, the last boat was co-owned with the now ex who took care of all this stuff.

The oil is not a hard job but it can be messy. If you have easy access to get behind the dash you should check for a loose wire to the switch, or you may need to reverse the wires somewhere. I can give a more detailed explanation if desired.

The bilge doesn't drain the battery unless it runs when the boat is off.

You may need to open the bilge access pump hole and see that your actual pump is seated properly in the float switch. If it is push it down, sometimes it may not be able to start sucking water. Pushing it down just gives it a kick start so the impellers can suck the water...It happened to my mobius once aswell.
