|
|
What is the cheapest way to ship one from OK to Niagara Falls NY? Any tricks etc? I had bought and paid for a board on here but the buyer backed out when he found out the shipping costs. I didnt think $42 was unreasonable through Fedex but apparently he did.
Thanks for any possible suggestions. |

Shipping a board using UPS is around $15-25 dollars. Get a board box from your local wakeboard shop if they will let you have one with a backer. Strap the board to the backer.
Call UPS direct and tell them you have a board to ship and see if you will get a better rate. $42 is pretty high unless that included a box and they store did all the packing. _________________ Wakeskating

| I am actually buying, and the price was with own packaging. I think he may have the box the original board came in. I asked Evo gear and they charge ~10 range to ship boards. We agreed on a price which I paid but he backed out claiming shipping was too high, so I thought I would be proactive and see if I could find him an alternate shipping method. |

| UPS and make sure the box is not irregular shaped. I shipped one from California to Vermont and it was about $20. OK to NY should be less. |

How much you wanna bet he went to a "UPS Store", those places are big time ripoffs.
I always ship from Office Depot, they give actual rates. |

Think he was using Fedex but not 100% sure, never thought of Office Depot. Think now that he was using one of their boxes it was down to $35 + 10 box, lol. |
