I found a combo on Craigs list the other night..

CWB Faction 144 board and boot (in XL) combo. for $280

I'm 6'8" and weigh about 225. I will be sharing the board with my brother in law (he bought the Jetski) who goes about 6'1" and weighs about 190.

I need some quick opinions on this setup for a couple beginners with zero WB experience. He has some waterski background, I have done it a few times. We are looking to just have a little fun.. no crazy tricks or anything.

The guy selling thought the boots would fit me fine (he tried them on as a size 14.. I'm a size 15.5) any thoughts for this boot size (xl)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Jamie

Not sure on the bindings, but the board size should be fine for both of you. I rode my brothers faction 138, rode well, but it's to small for me. He really seems to like it, and the black on black combo looks sick.

Thanks for the quick response.. I had read a few places that the board was not the best for a beginner.. hoping it will be ok! Smile

My brother is a complete noob and doesn't have any problems riding his. First time up on it he was cutting in and out of the wake, and slicing around pretty good. He rode my premier 141 a couple times last year and said his faction is way more stable.
