I am looking to get a new board for a decent price. I found a blemished 2008 Ronix DHV1 Wakeboard. I currently ride an older 135 CWB Absolute and love it, but need to get a new one because I am moving and have to leave it behind for the family. I know everyone says to demo, but with the blem I cannot. I would consider myself very versatile and not too picky, but any reviews on this board? Also its a 137 and it says up to 175lbs and I weigh about 185. I currently ride a 135, would a larger sized board be much more efficient.
Thanks in advance for the help. _________________ Work Hard. Play Hard. |

Yeah I would reccomend a larger board something around a 138 140 would be good. How tall are you? Theres a wide variety of blem boards ranging from some that you wouldnt know the difference and some that I would not touch, it just depends what category the board falls under. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

It says "The nose is dented from shipping damage with slight skuffs as well." I would definitely need pics of the damage before I purchased.
And I am 5'10 185. That's why I like the shorter boards cuz Im short and stocky and don't feel like I have as much control over a longer board. _________________ Work Hard. Play Hard. |

I wouldnt consider that short and stockey at all unless you have 25lb gut or something. Have you ridden a larger board, I would highly suggest getting something in 138-140 range. Larger doesnt really mean less control it will actually be more stable for you. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |
