After seeing how easy my brothers hinges are to get on, and how much of a pita my HL's are, I think I'm going to upgrade sometime this year. What models are good?

I've got 09 cwb zeus bindings. They're pretty legit to me. Easy on and off but you can really cinch them down tight too if you need to. The hinge doesn't come up or anything. You can adjust the hinge to be tighter or looser but I haven't messed with it. Also, I love the achilles pad. It really holds your heels in good.

Not a fan of the hinge technology most of the newer bindings are easy to get on off anyways with out all that garbage on them.

shaggyboarder, The problem I have with my '07 states is that I have some issues with my left leg/ankle/foot and the angle I have to put my foot in to get into them gives me a cramp in the arch of my foot till they are all the way on. I suffered a compound fracture to that shine 10 years ago, and no matter how much I stretch I have problems with the tendons and whatever down there. I can get my right one on just fine, but the left takes a while then I have to sit and wiggle my foot around before I tighten em up to get the cramp to go away. Not very pleasant at all, that's why I'm looking at the hinge since I wouldn't need to go at such an extreme angle to get my foot in.

Try the 08/09 murrays. REAL easy to get on off. Pretty kick ass binding.

shaggyboarder, I may have to give those a shot. I tried my bro's hinges and I dunno, maybe they were a size small for me, but I didn't really like em. I've gotten a system down for getting my states on now so it's really pretty easy.
