Where did you get that? I was looking at getting one or the 170. There is a local dealer that has the 200 for 5-6K.

What did you do with your old camera and what was it?

flixmaster, I bought mine from another wakeboard filmer in my area actually.

My old camera was the hv30. The hv30 is remarkable camera. Every video Ive ever posted that is HD is the hv30. Its really an awesome camera for 600 bucks. I just want to more professional filming and no one is going to pay me a pro rate with consumer equipment

Did you get a good deal on the 200? I have seen some used in the 2K-3K price range.

flixmaster, Ya got a great deal. The camera I bought was only used to shoot one video and was used as a broll camera at that. Its reallly low hours. Most hvx200s the batteries are loose. Well with my camera the battery is still tight which is good reference to use.

It looks bascially new. It included 1 16gig p2 card Extra Panasonic battery Pelican Case for 3,500

You can defiantly find em with more use and for cheaper.

If your looking to shoot HD videos for the site and stuff. I honestly would look into the Canon line hv40-hf100 . The quality they produce and ease of working is awesome. I dont think any camera under 3,000 dollars shoots better quality then hv30

I bought a hv20 last season for a little footage. I really need to look into a better camera. My biggest problem is that I just suck at taking footage and editing. Smile

and lack of time to do it all.
