| Took the boat out for the maiden voyage engine compartment was filling up with water, took it to the shop two freeze plugs were popped and both manifolds are cracked they put the front two freeze plugs back in and filled the block with water and its still leaking out of the back of the motor. Hopefully a freeze plug is just on the verge of popping out they are pulling the motor completly out in the am and we will find out. Any body know where to find a block for this thing. |

| Damn dude, that sucks. Guess they didn't winterize it. The 350 "M" blocks are the marinized versions, but you can run a standard block too. Did you take it to performance? |

Call Justin, he's probably got one laying around the shop, or can find you one on the cheap.
Actually just have Justin do the whole thing, he's got a shop up in Hagerstown now. That guy off English Muffin f-ed Jason's boat up pretty bad last year. We had to rebuild the whole top end after that guy was done with it. |

| Got the motor out of the boat and the back freeze plug was cracked so it popped a total of four hopefully they did their job. They hooked up a pressure system and its not leaking any where, the shop is going to leave it hooked up for the weekend just to make sure there is no cracks before the motor goes back in. Lucky Lucky. |

Wow, that is INCREDIBLY lucky. "Freeze plugs" is a bit of a misnomer, being that they're really there to plug casting holes from when the block is cast. It's pretty rare that they will actually pop out and save a block in the case of a freeze.
Hope everything else is alright with the engine as well (manifolds and risers, especially). |

| Well, a few hundred bucks for manifolds is still better than a few grand for a new engine as well... |
