I've slalomed behind one that size and a comparable year-can't remember specifics, though. From what I recall, the wake was flat as hell. While that is great for slalom, I don't know what it would be like for riding.

The deep vee definitely doesn't look as deep as my SunSport. But it is a beautiful boat. That 88 looks like a good price. I have never seen that model either. Didn't know they made anything but the comp boat actually.

Ooops, here it is

WakeMikey, not all V hulls are "deep". There are shallow(>13 degrees), modified (14-17) and deep (18+). This American Skier definitely does not look deep to me.

Of course there are different degrees of rise on different models. But if you were looking for a wake/surf specific boat here on wakeboarder.com wouldn't it be safe to say you would prefer a deeper vee? That's all I was trying to say.
