| I wanna learn how to wakeboard really bad this summer, I have been looking at boards and bindings for a while now, I know i prolly sound like a complete dumb ass, but for your first board and bindings, does it really matter if it is that great or not... i mean i dont wanna spend a whole hell of a lotta money cause i havent even tried it yet, but anyways i am really lookin at the hyperlite 131 essence w/ spin bindings... i mean is that pretty decent for a gurl, and a first board... if you could recommend something else please do! It depends on your size. Check out the gear guide on this site, or the Board Wizard on www.wakeworld.com. Both of those resources are a good way for you to learn about the different types of boards and bindings. Good luck _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

I agree with NAW. I know that a guy is never supposed to ask a girl her weight, but it is important in wakeboarding. Not that I'm asking, just keep that in mind. Weight is the biggest key thing in deciding board length. Get one that's too long, you won't have enough weight to really keep it under ya right. Get one that's too short, and it'll impede your performance.

I learned how to wakeboard on a single tip board with bungie bindings...not really even sure u could call those bindings. So, that board is most definitely better than the one I learned on.

| Yeah well i weigh about 115, so i know i will need a smaller board, i figured since i am just beginning the board should be alright along w/ the bindings, i mean it sure as hell isnt top of the line but its not something at the bottom either... well maybe closer to the bottom than the top lol but whatever works right.... as long as i can get my ass out there! |
