DWC and SLINGSHOT can have my first born child

Picked up my 2009 Recoil and D3 boots yesterday from Delta Wakeboard Camp. Super stoked on the setup.

First though, the people at DWC are awesome! Tom and Anthony are great people and got me an incredible deal I couldn't pass up. They seriously have everything there so if you guys need stuff check them out at www.deltawakeboardcamp.com I'm not sponsored by them or anything just trying to help out those that help me.

Now for slingshot, I was riding what I thought was the highest quality product available with my 07 ronix one w/ 07 ronix cells. I stand corrected, don't get me wrong ronix is a great quality product. But slingshot is bar none the most well crafted product I have ever seen. Not one flaw in the board, graphic or boots. Everything bolted up without any problems the adjustment gear is awesome, works very well! I can't wait to get it on the water tonight after work!

Just got back from riding, I'm really interested in seeing where I can go on this board.

I'm definitely not as good on it as on my One, but I'm getting used to the whole flex thing. Flexing it up on the surface is probably the funnest stuff I have ever done! I had the board vertical for quite a good distance. My W2W isn't as big yet but I think within the next few rides I will be there for sure, should have my inverts in no time and then the spins and whatnot.

My ONLY concern was that my boots felt REALLY big, and I was told slingshot fit small? I got the same size I wore for my Ronix boots (sz 12) and they seemed too big. I haven't molded them yet but with my Ronix boots I didn't think it made a huge difference. Will the overlays loosen up some over time so I can tighten them more? Will the liner shrink up up heating? Just curious so any seasoned SS riders let me know!

Overall I am very happy I went with the flex setup after the first ride! I have to get used to it but it's definitely making wakeboarding fun again!

on a side note, slingshot has taken over McCormicks. It is funny to see how each cable has a specific board company and binding that everyone rides. Rixen is hyperlite. Odub WAS all Ronix but now it has spread out a little. McCormicks is Slingshot. Texas is LF. But damn, i think McCormicks is keep slingshot in business all by themselves Laughing

Medina, wow I would have NEVER guessed that. I didn't even know they sold jstar over seas. What happens is is that kids follow whatever board the best local pro rides from what i've found. So i'm assuming your local pro rides a jstar Question

Sorry for being "combative" but its irritating to see somebody continuously bash a brand and then that's all that he says is "I hate slingshot" really unnecessary to me.

And having since ridden this board more I really like it, flex is fun and I'm drinking the slingshot kool aid.

Just got off the phone with the dudes at Slingshot, awesome people. Wade is awesome for knowledge and told me EVERYTHING I needed to know about my setup and then transferred me to Kyle the Customer Service/Warranty guru, and he hooked it up with a set of 6" fins to be headed my way!

I'm super stoked on the product and the people behind it, they've forever got my business and the business of people around me. I work hard for my money and I'm a firm believer in spending it with those who work hard before and after getting it. I really hope Slingshot is here to stay.
