While disturbing if true, it doesn’t excuse the beating Brown gave Rihanna under any circumstances.

What defines a beating anyhow? One, two, three punches? Open hand, back hand, fist? Drop kicks?
I would call it repeated strikes after the victim can no longer defend him/herself.

They said on the news this morning that she had multiple contusions, a busted lip and a few cuts. I think that was a beating.

I think striking a woman in anyway would be considered "beating" someone correct me if I am wrong, but that is assult in court. I have never and would never hit a woman but I do kind of hate that it is somewhat acceptable for women to slap men. Not saying that men should be able to hit women or anything like that but if every woman was held accountable for hitting a guy there would be a lot more assult cases. Hell my wife has slapped me before lol.

Not IMO but to others maybe. I think a beating is a beating, meaning multiple punches/kicks to someone. Hitting them once is just hitting them in my book. According to the law they are both assault but there is different forms depending on how bad you hurt the person.

Equal rights means an equal arse kicking....You cant ask to be treated equally and have gender specific benefits. Just dont preach equality and expect me to give up my seat on the bus when it benefits you..If we are truly "equal" we shouldn’t see gender, color or race. In history men didnt hit women because they were seen as the weaker sex. If we are going to throw out the historical idea that women are the weaker sex then all rules surrounding this ridiculous connotation should go as well..

I'm sure these performers have to go through thorough physicals before they start a tour for insurance purposes, and I bet she has a life insurance policy as well which requires a full physical. I don't condone the beating in any way, but if she found out that he gave her herpes and slapped him across the face, she wouldn't get arrested. |

But, after Alomar showed various signs of fatigue, low blood platelet counts and other physical problems, tests in February 2006 showed that he was suffering from AIDS, according to Dall's papers.
Dall originally filed the lawsuit last month in Queens but her lawyer Anthony J. Piacentini filed additional papers asking that the case be removed to Brooklyn federal court.
Dall is asking for $15 million in damages for AIDS phobia. Her complaint didn't say she was infected with any disease.
Alomar's attorney, Charles Bach, couldn't immediately be reached for comment Wednesday. In an interview with the Daily News, Bach declined to say whether Alomar is HIV-positive.
He called the lawsuit "frivolous" and the allegations "baseless."
Alomar, who played for the Mets in 2002 and 2003, was dealing with vision and back problems when he announced his retirement in March 2005, according to robertoalomar.com.
Over a 17-year career, he was a 12-time All-Star.
