Okay a buddy of mine just bought a 2003 Sport Nautique 216. He is wondering what is the difference between that and an Air Nautique. From what I have read the hull is the same, the difference is in the options. Is this correct? He has a tower and ballast system in the boat already so what is the difference between what he bought and an Air Nautique? Thanks for the info.

brotherbrown831, exactly.

Sport Nautique (216) (98+)= Air Nautique (216) with rear ballast tanks, a tower, and Air graphics. Other then that there is no difference between the two models. The drivetrain, hull and deck are all the same.

So the difference between your friend's boat and an Air Nautique comes down to the graphics package. Excellent choice in boat though, I really miss my old Sport Nautique sometimes.
