Not quite 21...

Had a friends fake get taken away tonight. Our usual liquor store was closed down so we decided to venture out and see what other stores it would work at. Needless to say it wasnt the one he went to. Guy black lighted it and it was a no go. Wouldn't give it back to him, but he didn't call the cops.

Anyone familiar with this situation at all?

Your lucky he didn't call the cops, if you get caught with a fake it could be around a 2000 dollar fine, in the case of my cousin though she got away with a 200 dollar fine after going to court.

Jensen, you live in cali right? I'm pretty sure michigan just has a misdemenor for it. Treat it kind of like an MIP.

Oasis 137- That doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary in my experiences. Liquor stores can lose their alchy license for selling to minors, so the quick 'n easy 'slap on the wrist' is to keep the obvious fakes and just let the dudes walk.

I had a few taken from me in my day. Usually they would just take it and not sell it me. I did have some asian lady lock the door and call the cops. I was a little lit up at the time, finally figured out what was going on and made a break for it.
