I called the Santa Clara store today and found out that all the stores were closed back in November. I was also told that MC is in the process of filing for Chapter 11, along with some of the other manufacturers. I must have been living in a bubble for the past few months since this was news to me. I guess it makes sense considering this terrible rut the economy is in.

WW is much more up to date on this information. MC is not in the process of chapter 11, that was a rumor along with Malibu filing for bankruptcy as well.

They cut back on employees, as have a number of other companies.

Cope's went out of business the end of last year. I went by their Rocklin location and they literally just locked the doors and walked away.

I bought a brand new X1 from them just in time to catch them blowing out inventory.

NorCal Mastercaft just opened up here in Sac, they are the only MC dealer left in the area.

Did Copes not leave a few stores open? I thought they left 3-4 of the main stores open?
