I'm not sure how many of you have seen Fly By Radio, but they are one hell of a cover band. Not only do they play awesome music, but their lead singer is a knock out and they put on one heck of a show. Has anyone else on here seen them? Check out their website at www.flybyradio.com _________________

USMGolfer,
I've seen them. I was heavily intoxicated and I still thought they sucked. They are in and around auburn a few times a semester, so i have the chance to see them a lot. |

Chad H, What? Are you into techo or something? Everytime they come to school (Hattiesburg) they are sold out and our entire baseball team is there. Whenever I come home (Chattanooga) I can't walk around in the place. BTW, how are the ladies over there? I've wanted to go to Auburn to see how it compares to Southern Miss. _________________

USMGolfer,
Not into to techno, i love classic rock, and the like. These guys just seem like any other band that plays at the frat houses here.
Girls are incredible in Auburn. You would be amazed. |

That's what I've heard. I've heard that our campus is better than your campus and vice versa. I'm going to need to make a weekend road trip over there before I graduate. _________________

USMGolfer, I've been to Southern Miss, and there was about the same level of quality. Just more of it at Auburn. Had some fun damn times down there at S. Miss though.
If you go to Auburn, just don't hang out with Chad, and you'll see the hot women.
I'm kind of kidding........yet sorta serious. |

Sounds like a cool band. Have any of you seen the Velcro Pygmies? Caught them at a pub I frequent in OKC last week. They put on a good show. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

I've seen fly by radio at rhythm and brews in chattanooga a couple of times. They were good, but I don't remember them being any better than the other cover bands that play there (breakfast club, velcro pygmies, 80z enuff, etc.).
Pretty much every time I've been to rhythm and brews it was so crowded you couldn't walk in there, so that really isn't out of the ordinary. |

Signer is a hotty... But it's SAD to see a cover band with such a big crowd....hopefully they were opening for somebody else....
It happens around here too... There are a few cover bands w/ hot chick lead singers & they pack places & have a following..... FOR WHAT!!! A band that does NOT write anything gets that much exposure but an actual local band has a hard time getting any exposure & they are the TRUE artists (well some are...LOL) |

I was at LSU last weekend visiting my brother and went to a bar called Bogies and a band called High Harper Lane played and they were fantastic. They played awesome music- RHCP, DMB, aand others but those are the only two i remember... The lead singer was my friends cousin and he sang great. I think they only play in Baton Rouge though. _________________ rest easy my friend
