laptop to tv wireless?

What options are avaliable to hook my laptop to my tv preferably wireless.

Option1 - get a really long video and audio cable and leave the laptop next to me on the couch.

Option2 - Put laptop next to tv with normal length cable, but find a wireless keyboard and mouse with a 10' range.

Option3 - acheive this wirelessly???

Is there a wireless device that plugs into the tv? I am running a wirless router so I can talk from the laptop to the router. Now I just need the router to talk to the tv.
