local competitions

So i live in utah and i've noticed that there arent to many competitions here even though we have some great lakes so i would like to host my own or something along those lines but i dont have an idea as to where to start if someone could help me out that would be great

Get with your local shop and start talking to them. See if they have something planned. Also reach out to your regional reps. Start talking with them about the possibility of doing something. Your going to want the support of the regional reps for sure. Do you have a club in your area? Clubs often host smaller events during the season. A small club event is a good way to start.

Tayler, what part of utah do you live in? I'm down in St. George and competitions down here are pretty scarce. Maybe one a year. I think there is probably more up north.

i live in riverton it's like 10 miles from salt lake and i hevent heard of any kind of competiton up this way

Here in Holland near the german border i have no clue of some local competition, i hope we have them aswell!
