I can get a good deal on a 08...and i can get an even better deal on a 07. are there any known problem with thease boards. I like to use the board fr sliders and kikers mainly, some kiteing to.

if you decide to go with the 07, you have to make sure you buy slingshot bindings also, because it doesn't have screw inserts for companies like hyperlite, liquid force, ronix, cwb, etc

good to know. I have a pair of old collin wright bindings im planning to use. anyone tried kiting with this board?

yeah, if you get a 07 you HAVE to use slingshot bindings, i just picked up a 08 and 09.

nice! but whats up with the fins on the 08? stiped fin problem?

SS will take care of your fin issue. Shoot them an email asking about the 09 fins, they hooked me up no questions asked. They even sent me the shorter 6 inch ones.
