09 ronix boots on 08 boards

Is anyone using those metal adapter brackets on the 09 Ronix boots to fit them to older boards with any success? I can't seem to get mine to lock the boot down properly, no matter how tight i twist them down.

I have 2009 Ones on a 2008 CVS1--and have had no problems. Are you bottoming out the inserts?

I don't believe so, but i'll have to double check tonight..may just need to jimmy up a washer. Hey Justin, long time no see man!
