Since there are so many apps to wade through, I thought it would be cool to have a place to post what you have. That way, if you find a new, must have, you can add/share it.
My must haves are:
Pandora
Shazam
YPmobile
Sportacular
Trulia (since I am in the house market)
Darkroom
Keep adding them as you find the cool ones! |

Bump. Figure with the 3GS out it might be a good time to update.
Have added:
Navionics Hotmaps (very good with lake depths, contours, on-water services, etc., and GPS functions-depends on having good signal though, is not a "pure" GPS locator)
Weather Channel (used to cost but got it when it was free-kicks Accuweather's ass)
Pandora
ESPN ScoreCenter
ChessFree
Tiki Spades
Free Heads Up Hold 'Em
Twisty Lite (word twist game-make as many words as you can out of the letters given)
ViewTi (incredible golf app-equivalent of the GPS golf carts they have at nice courses, but better because you can't always take the cart right to your ball)
And DirecTV is freaking awesome. I've got a TV in my master bedroom but no DVR. DVR is down in my "man cave" and out in my living room. So, when there is stuff on at the same time that I want to watch while in bed I pick up my phone and tell the DVRs to record that ch!t right there. I don't even have to get out of bed to go turn on those TV's and set them to record. Who says Americans are lazy?
Anyone else got any new ones or found good ones not already mentioned above? _________________

Navigon recently released their GPS app for the iphone. Too bad their price for it is like buying a GPS itself. It's $70 for a few more days and then I think it bumps up to $100. _________________ RIP DLS.

Just added Slacker Radio. I'm trying to decide if this is a better app than Pandora. |

Whats the difference between an iphone and an jail broken one? I hear that term "jail broken" all the time when talking to friends but i never understood what it meant. I want to say that if you buy a jail broken iphone you don't have to pay for the data usage plan. Is that true? What exactly does it mean jail broken and what is its functions?

Read up there on jailbreaking. Basically jailbreaking is not unlocking - it just opens up the OS to accept more third party apps and tweaks.
I haven't done it, but I have seen it in use. It is non-damaging and totally reversible. _________________

Ustream
it lets you record video and simultaneously upload it to the Ustream website where anyone can watch what you're recording LIVE. very cool app and free but it absolutely obliterates battery life |
