I know this boat is new for 2009 in the V drive style. Though, I was curious to know if anyone has had a chance to have one of these out on the water. What did you think of it? My wife has came around and actually likes a lot of things about this boat. However, due to it being on a ski hull, I am a little skeptical about it being used for a wake boat. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN

It's not bad stock, but as it is with most ski-hulled boats, you are going to want/need more weight than what is stock. That being said you should be able to plum in bigger sacs and then maybe add some lead, other fat sacs, or have a full boat.

Not interested in CC, the dealer here is not someone I want to deal with. Its unfortunate... but that is how it is. Plus I have looked and as an overall product line, I just never got excited about them.
My new Shorter list is
Mastercraft X-14V, X2
Supra Launch 21SSV
Malibu V-Ride, VTX,VLX
MB, X1, Axis, Moomba are pretty much out at this point and never really considered Tige' or CC.
Plus, I dont see inverts in my future. I would say intermidiate is about as far as I am interested in going. Though, you never know. I do enjoy a wide range of water sport interest overall, even if wakeboarding is my favorite. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN

Not sure about your age or interests, but you might want to look into something with more of a wake specific hull as you might want to get into wakesurfing sometime. The x2 is definitely one of my favorite boats no doubt. I have not skied behind it, but boarding, surfing, and relaxing on that boat is amazing. I also am a big fan of how fly high has a ballast system already designed for MC's so you just plumb it in and you then have that much more ballast at your finger tips.

In my opinion, if you enjoy a broader range of watersports with more of an interest in the boarding ones (surf, wakeskate, wakeboard) the X2 would be my pick hands down.
