Hi guys
im just getting into wakeboarding but have done a lot of slalom and barefooting as well as kitesurfing.
At the moment I have a boat that is a pretty good ski tow but probley pretty average as far as wakeboarding with a rear mounted ski pole.
Im wanting to mount a high pole but not sure where it should go.
Should I just place an extension over the ski pole and brace or should I mount a new pole further forward.
How much difference does the extra 3 ft approx make

thanks Paul
most people who use an extended pylon have older boats where the pole is near the center of the boat, enabling them to brace it with a strap going to the bow. im not sure how to brace a rear pole other than having a strap going to the bow
an extended pylon or tower will help you in getting up due to the higher angle of the pull & will give you a little more hang time on jumps... plus towers make your boat look cool _________________ Lanexa VA
