|
|
What is a good sized speaker for a tower. Im not really looking to hear them while im boarding. I have a little amp i could through into the mix. Just looking for decent sound. I was at radio shack and they have these Indoor outdoor speakers. Looks like they will mount perfectly to my tower. 60 Watts RCA.. Just curious what everyone else is putting up. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/member/Steelerguy

| If you just want to hear them in the boat while you're hanging out then they'll work. Otherwise those are way too small and won't be very loud. |

i got on ebay and bought a pair of the liquid audio kicker speakers for $215.00 got an 222 watt amp to push them from wally world for $80.00 and i tell you what they are loud very loud so just for around $300.00 you can have a kick butt sound on your boat. _________________ we can fix it !!!! |

Yeah you drill a hole at the top and bottom....then what I did is tie a little piece of a plastic bag with some fishing line. Then sucked it through with a vacume. Then you just pull it through. Works awesome! _________________ Riders Inc. |

to run your speaker wire inside your tower you can all ways use some small mechs. wire and tie the speaker wire on to the other and fish it through like that _________________ we can fix it !!!! |

| I did the same as -hyperlite-proair man-. I got a USAcoustic 4X85 to push the Kicker K60 Liquid Auidio speakers. They are plenty loud for my taste. Good luck. |

If you are interested in building you own enclosure like the one shown in my profile, let me know and I can get you set up with a complete set of instructions, patterns, etc to build your own.
Thanks,
Jim |
