Lake Austin early in the morning when everyone else is working.

Best place to eat for Burgers is Ski Shores.

Best place to eat, drink and people watch is the Hula Hut.

L.Austin has 2 'mini' party coves. One across from the Hula Hut and one up from the 360 bridge.

That is my favorite place to ride and spend the day. In Austin there are a few other great places to ride but this is my personal favorite.

We are going to want to spotlight some great places to ride this coming season. If you have a great location and would like to share it with some pictures and a short write-up that would be great.

I know we all have a secret spot and we want to keep everyone away but I know others would like to see some great riding locations.

SECONDED!!!

Also, try yesterday, when there were only the die-hard riders out. Ski and wake alike. It was awesome. And my ski shores was a spiritual experience... per usual, Laughing

Lake Powell early in the morning when everyone else is sleeping.....or just before dark, when everyone has gone back to camp.....

A distant second is Flaming Gorge.....

Best place for burgers is on a houseboat at either place.... Nothing like a burger and beer on the houseboat, then onto the beach for some 'shoes before evening riding....

Wheeler Lake, located in North Alabama. Everything about it is sentimental value. I hated it when i first started riding at it, but as i've grown up going there, I've realized the best places to ride, and i've also learned to appreciate the fact that it is dead on the weekdays. Many good times have been spent riding all day, and relaxing around a fire at night.

Lake Arenal, Costa Rica.

Big ass lake, right beside that big smoking pimple^, with NO boats on it. Well, OK, sometimes (on really really crowded days) 2 or 3 others, maybe. We're about the only wakeboarders here.
It can be pretty windy/choppy, but there are many small protected coves, so no problem finding a good spot ever. Good temperatures year round, so only the rain in nov/dec might keep you off the lake.
Pura Vida wakeboarding!

I have fallen in love with our local lake. It is clean (for a lake here), even on a bad day you can see down to your knees...on a good day you can see to your feet! We have found a cove that is protected on three sides so most of the time it is small ripples to totally smooth! It also has awsome sunsets!

Aransas River

I haven't been in some time since I moved to North Texas. But this was the best, most consistent water I have been on.

P.S. I left the pic large so you can drink it all in.

Chad H, do you ever get over to Smith Lake? There are some great runs over there. Brushy Creek and Clear Creek are always butter except in the worst winds. It's very clean too. I don't have any pics right now but I'll find a few from this season and post them.

I have kin' down there in them parts! Laughing

Actually got free access to a home down by the dam for an entire week because the owners son went to high school with my cousin. Definitely nice on the weekdays and not bad early mornings and late evenings on the weekend.

Bull Creek, just off Hilton Head Island, SC. Part of the Atlantic intercoastal, sheltered from the wind. Catch it at the right time and its like one big, calm, salty puddle. I love it here.
