Dealer/mechanics problems

Gotta bitch for a minute. Just got my boat out of the shop from the dealer that sold me the boat, castaic boat and marine, paying over $700 for a variety of fixes. And their attention to detail sucks.
First, got a new hour guage. It doesn't match the interior at all. all my guages are white/cream, they installed a black one. They replaced my cigarette lighter/accy. plug, and it doesn't work still. They obviously never checked it. Several accesories were left disconnected from the battery. And they lost a couple of straps that I had for the bimini top (no biggie, but still).
My phone calls haven't been returned. They're "aware" of it, but they'll "call back".
It's not like they're convenient to just "drop by".
Just had to let the unsuspecting know..

I can't agree with you more. Dealers are so unsensitive to your needs. I don't know if its because its a luxury sport or not. It seems when I call my dealer for something I am pissing them off. I havent found a good boat dealer yet that didn't enjoy ripping you off.
