I keep getting a message on my computer that says "Power surge on hub port. A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message." It started coming up last night when nothing was plugged into my computer except for my power cord. This morning it wont stop popping up and once again, nothing is plugged into the laptop. Any information would be appreciated. _________________

This probably isnt it but check your USB port for any trash or dirt that got stuck in it. I keep a flash drive in the same pocket as my pencils and a piece of lead broke off and got stuck in the USB plug so when I plugged it in it wouldnt connect and got extremely hot. I guess it kind of short circuited it.
Try going into your device manager and deleting all the usb ports, then reboot your computer and let windows auto reinstall them _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut.
